PALKULAMMEDU
"Palkulam" means "the milky pond" . The place gets its name from the milky waters of the pond situated at the hilltop. The hill is ideal for 3 to 4 hours of trekking. Words fall short to describe the captivating view of Periyar from the top of Palkulammedu peak.
MEENULIANPARA
The peak stands at a height of over 4000 ft and on the top you will find an evergreen forest spreading over 2 acres. Blessed with diverse flora, this peak gets its name from its surface that resembles fish scales.
KOTTAPARA HEIGHTS
What makes the Kottapara hills different from other view points is the view of early morning mist rolling by when you look down from the mountain top. Later in the morning you can see that the mist clears revealing a striking and picturesque view of the valley below.
